a visual mirror is an artwork that reflects a story. created for an individual, couple, family, group, creative venture, or company, these pieces begin with a conversation between the “storyteller(s)” and the artist (me), and out of that conversation emerges art that reflects back the vital elements of the story that has been told. rooted in the wilderness practice of mirroring the tales people bring back from the land, visual mirrors seek out the aliveness in a story and give it form and color, offering new layers of meaning and connection.
